Road Closures for Thunder to Affect Jason Aldean / KFC Yum! Center Thunder Viewing Parties

TRAFFIC ALERT:

THUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE ROAD CLOSURES TO AFFECT KFC YUM! CENTER EVENTS – JASON ALDEAN/THUNDER CELEBRATION

What: Due to road closures for Thunder Over Louisville, fans are advised to arrive early for the sold-out Jason Aldean concert on Friday and the Thunder Over Louisville Viewing Party on Saturday to allow plenty of time for traffic and parking.

When: Friday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. – Jason Aldean
Saturday, April 20 at 1:30 p.m. – Thunder Viewing Parties
 

Details: All vehicular traffic will be closed on the Clark Memorial Bridge from Thursday, April 18 at 9:30 a.m. until Sunday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m.
 

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19 until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, River Road will close from Bingham Way to 8th Street. Bingham Way will also close west from Witherspoon Street (Joe's Crab Shack) to River Road.
 

Beginning at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 19 until 9:00 a.m. Sunday, April 21, Witherspoon Street will be closed from Preston Street to Brook Street along with River Road from Preston Street to Witherspoon Street.
 

The ramp from westbound Interstate 64 to 3rd Street & River Road and the entrance ramp from 2nd Street to eastbound I-64 will close to traffic at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 20.

The ramp from Muhammad Ali Boulevard to northbound I-65 will close Saturday at 6 p.m. All inbound interstate traffic on I-65, I-64 & I-71 will be closed from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Guests attending the Thunder Viewing Parties at the KFC Yum! Center on Saturday will only have access to the Arena Garage from Main St. and Third St.
