Louisville, KY (February 5, 2025) – ASM Global, the world’s No. 1 development and full-service venue company, has announced the appointment of Trevor Hamilton as the new Director of Operations for the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky. Hamilton, a seasoned operations leader with over a decade of experience, will oversee all aspects of the venue’s day-to-day operations, including facility services, engineering, maintenance, housekeeping and 24-hour security.
 
Hamilton brings a wealth of knowledge from his career in the events industry, having held leadership positions at major venues and global events. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations at Kentucky Performing Arts (KPA), managing the operations of multiple Louisville venues, including The Kentucky Center, Brown Theatre, and Paristown Hall. He also served as Logistics Venue Manager and Chief Liaison Officer for the 2024 Olympics Summer Games in Paris.
 
In his new role at the KFC Yum! Center, Hamilton will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations at one of Louisville’s premier entertainment venues, which hosts a wide range of events from concerts and sporting events to conventions and community gatherings. He will play a critical role in enhancing the guest experience while maintaining the venue’s operational excellence, safety protocols, and efficient management of its facilities.

Hamilton’s impressive resume includes key leadership roles at some of the world’s most renowned event venues and global sporting events. Hamilton previously served as Vice President of Operations at The Peace Center in Greenville, SC, where he spearheaded a $41 million expansion and contributed to the center’s record-breaking $10 million net profit in 2022. Hamilton also played a vital role in the success of major international events, including his tenure as Logistics Venue Manager and Chief Liaison Officer at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics and his previous positions at the Rio 2016 Olympics, London 2012 Olympics, and Toronto 2015 PanAm Games.
 
His operational expertise spans across diverse environments, including convention centers, performing arts venues, and large-scale international sporting events, demonstrating his ability to manage and optimize complex logistics and ensure the smooth execution of world-class events.
